Amy Schumer’s Husband Trolls Her in Huge Way, Writes ‘I’m Leaving You’ on Her Birthday Cake

Amy Schumer celebrated a major milestone yesterday. And her husband, Chris Fischer, had a very special message for his wife.

In honor of his wife’s 40th birthday on Tuesday, the 41-year-old chef gave her a very special birthday cake (which was from by the way bakery). Lucky for us, the I Feel Pretty star shared a video of herself first setting eyes on the cake on her personal Instagram account.

In the clip, the actress is seen sitting at her kitchen table with her friends and family—including son Gene David Fischer—as Fischer brings in the dessert and the group sings Happy Birthday. As the cake gets closer, viewers can make out the message, which reads, “I'm leaving you. This was the only way I could think to do it.” And Schumer’s face says it all.

“My [cake emoji] #40,” she captioned the post.

We weren’t the only ones who appreciated the clever cake, which was obviously a joke. Fans and followers filled the comments section with praise for the quip. Fellow actress and pal Erika Christensen wrote, “I mean, it's ironic because this proves he's the best," while Debra Messing added, "You are perfect for one another. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!"

The IG comes less than one month after the couple celebrated Gene’s second birthday. For the occasion, the comedian made sure to spotlight her husband in a less sarcastic post.

“Today is our son's birthday and I woke up emotional as hell thinking about my husband, Chris,” Schumer captioned a sweet tribute on Instagram. “In this first photo while I was having a 3-hour c section he held my hand and stared in my eyes so I never felt alone. I feel loved and supported always. He takes care of our family and is a husband and father beyond my wildest dreams.”

Clearly, these two have plenty to celebrate. Happy birthday, Amy!
