Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are doing everything they can to support victims of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, California—and there's footage to prove it.

On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a surprise visit to the Pasadena Convention Center, which is currently being used as an evacuation site. While there, the pair embraced and spoke with community members affected by the raging fires, which have already destroyed over 38,000 acres. They also volunteered to distribute free meals alongside World Central Kitchen (WCK) founder José Andrés, who has previously partnered with the Archewell Foundation.

Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo, who was also in attendance, spoke with Fox 11 and revealed that the royal couple was initially not recognized because they donned face masks while quietly serving food. Additionally, their involvement "really buoyed the spirits."

Gordo explained, “They want to be as helpful as they can be and they just wanted to be supportive. [They] didn’t come out here for publicity. They came out here to work.”

The mayor continued, “We went to visit some of the families in the impacted area and view firsthand some of the impacted area and then they wanted to go visit the first responders and personally thank them for their efforts to help our families and our neighbors.”

In addition to their unannounced visit, the duke and duchess have donated clothing and essential supplies to help the victims. They have also reportedly offered their home to loved ones who were forced to evacuate.

The royal couple's recent visit comes after they released a brief statement regarding the wildfires on their official website. It reads, “In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more—affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life. A state of emergency has been issued.”

For those who feel "compelled to help," the royals included a list of resources and ideas, like offering your home and giving back. They wrote, "Some families and people have been left with nothing. Please consider donating clothing, children’s toys & clothing, and other essentials. The American Red Cross is on the ground helping those in need."

Leave it to Harry and Meghan to be a beacon of hope in the Golden State.
