Princess Eugenie is proving once again that she's got an eye for more than just fine art. The royal made a stylish appearance in Hong Kong this week for Art Basel, and her outfit definitely deserves a moment. Not just for the bold color choice—but for that perfectly placed thigh-high slit.

How daring

In the second photo of her Instagram carousel, the 35-year-old is seen wearing a striking emerald green dress with a daring side-split that gives the look just the right amount of drama. Over the top, she threw on a tailored black double-breasted coat that added structure and polish. To finish the look, she carried the ‘Serrano’ Black Teddy Bag by Divlos and wore a simple gold necklace—an understated combo that let the dress take center stage.
It’s no surprise to see Eugenie at Art Basel. She’s been vocal about her love for art for years and regularly shares that side of her life with her 1.8 million Instagram followers. In fact, back in December, she launched a new Instagram series dedicated to showcasing her favorite artists and exhibitions.
She kicked things off with a feature on Claude Monet, focusing on his atmospheric paintings of the Thames. “Monet was fascinated by the light and smog of London,” she wrote, noting that he painted some of his most iconic works while staying at The Savoy—where he had views of both Charing Cross and Waterloo Bridge. “The way he captured light on water is incredible,” she added. “The seriality of his work feels almost photographic—like an 1899 version of how we capture moments today.”
