I Was So Distracted by Kate Middleton's Monochrome Outfit That I Nearly Missed Her New Hairstyle

I was so distracted by the Princess of Wales’s monochrome ensemble (just look at that coat!) that I almost missed her subtle hairstyle change. The royal opted against her usual blown-out curls and rocked a bouncier style that drew attention to her long locks. She kept the roots of her hair straight and focused the curling iron on the ends, so that her hair fell in uniformed tendrils.

As for her body language, the royal looked confident and completely at ease as she participated in group discussions and spoke with the patients one-on-one. There were a lot of genuine smiles and open-palmed gestures as she interacted with people, indicating that she was very relaxed, approachable and genuinely happy to be there.

The Royal Marsden will always hold a special place in the duchess’s heart. Not only did she receive treatment there, but she’s also set to join her husband, Prince William, as the hospital’s royal patron.
