Jennifer Lopez Reveals Never-Before-Heard Details About Her Teenage Kids and How They’re ‘Brutally Honest’

In an interview with E! News, Lopez shared never-before-heard details about the 16-year-old twins she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, Emme and Max. The “On the Floor” singer, 55, revealed that her kids sometimes weigh in on her career and personal life, as long as they’re not too busy with school, friends and being teenagers. 

“I think kids are, like, kind of wrapped up in their own lives a bit, but if you ask them, they will give you their honest opinion about everything, you know what I mean?” J.Lo told the outlet. “They’re ready to be brutally honest with you at times.”

Lopez revealed that she enjoys hearing their honest criticism, adding, “I like my kids to see my work and know what I’m doing. I’ll share certain things with them and say, ‘What do you think of this?’ Or ‘What do you think of that?’ And they always have an interesting perspective, because they’re from a different generation.”

Although she values their opinions, J.Lo admitted that she has the final say. “It’s really always additive as far as I’m concerned. I always have such joy from hearing their thoughts and what they think about things.”
