Nelly Furtado is kicking off 2025 with a powerful message about embracing physical appearance and self-love. The 46-year-old "Maneater" singer took to Instagram to share a pair of mirror selfies rocking a neon orange halter bikini. Barefoot with her hair pulled back, Furtado radiated confidence and ease. But while her photos were stunning, it was her caption that stole the show.

“HAVE A BODY NEUTRAL 2025,” she wrote, along with a winky face emoji. “BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR HEART. THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES THIS YEAR.”

Furtado opened up about the pressures of her career, saying, “This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way, while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self-love and genuine confidence from within.” She also revealed she had to “[pursue legal action]” against those spreading myths about her health and beauty routine.

The singer got candid, sharing exactly what cosmetic work she’s had done—or in her case, not had done. “I have never had any face or body surgeries or augmentation, besides veneers on the top row of my teeth,” she wrote. She added that she’s never had lip injections or fillers, but she does work with a long-time facialist and relies on skincare serums and creams she’s used since she was 20.
