Meghan Markle’s Daughter Lilibet Is Ironically in Her ‘Princess Phase’

It’s been five years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were stepping down as senior royals and moving to California. Since then, they’ve grown the Invictus Games and even partnered with Netflix for not one, but two brand-new shows. Although they’re no longer tied down by royal rules, they’re still heavily influenced by their British roots.

Earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, released the first official trailer for her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. This prompted Markle’s friend, professional chef Adrian Lipscombe, to congratulate the royal in a social media post. Not only did Lipscombe share rare details about her relationship with Markle, but she also revealed that the duchess’s 3-year-old daughter, Lilibet, is in her “princess phase.” 

“I’ve had the pleasure of meeting @meghan over food, and let me tell you, she and her well-known significant other are some of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met,” Lipscombe wrote on Instagram. “We talked about our families (mostly about our daughters being in their princess phase and the movies they love) and, of course, about food.”

The chef concluded, “She didn't rush the conversation, even though I was taking up her time. She was gracious, engaged and kind.”
