Joanna Gaines rarely shares glimpses of her private family life, so when she does, fans are here for it. With five kids—Drake, Ella, Duke, Emmie, and Crew—and her husband, Chip Gaines, the Magnolia founder keeps most moments offline. But her latest post gave us a behind-the-scenes look at something truly special: her daughter Emmie’s 15th birthday celebration.

Taking to Instagram, Joanna shared snippets of her and her youngest helper, 6-year-old Crew, prepping for the big day—and, naturally, she went all out. Think: giant silver balloons spelling out “Happy Birthday,” an array of pink, cream and white balloons and a stunning bouquet of matching flowers for the table.

But it wasn’t just the décor that made fans emotional. Joanna included throwback photos of herself pregnant with Emmie and sweet baby pictures, like a shot of newborn Emmie in her arms, another with her older siblings and a pic of Chip planting a kiss on her tiny cheek.

The final clip in the post shows the birthday girl herself, Emmie, walking into the decorated room. Taken from behind, the video captures her seemingly gasping in disbelief at the setup—a total tearjerker moment.

“F I F T E E N,” Joanna captioned the post, perfectly set to Taylor Swift’s iconic song of the same name. “She gets her driver’s permit tomorrow… How is our baby girl already 15?”

She continued, “Emmie Kay is JOY. She is FUN. She is ever so LOVELY. What a gift she is to our family. Happy Birthday EK!”

Fans couldn’t help but gush in the comments. “Time is a thief. Wasn’t it yesterday she was this tiny little thing? Happy birthday Emmie! Hope you have a day filled with laughter,” one follower wrote. Another added, “Such a sweet age.”

Happy Birthday, Emmie.
