In general, any news from Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is good news, and the announcement of the brand's latest ambassador is no exception.
Actress and activist Amandla Stenberg announced on Instagram that Rih has chosen her to join the Fenty Family.
Stenberg, who has starred in The Hunger Games (remember Rue?!) and The Hate U Give, is also a devoted activist who's spoken out in the past about topics like sexual identity, intersectional feminism and biracial identity.
In a press release, Stenberg said, "I wanted to become a part of the Fenty Family because it's one of the few beauty brands that make me feel like myself! Fenty Beauty's whole ethos makes me feel empowered and excited to let different facets of myself shine."
The 20-year-old actress joins an impressive roster of Fenty ambassadors including models Paloma Elsesser, Halima Aden and Slick Woods.
In case you missed it, it's been a big month for Rihanna. Just last week, luxury goods conglomerate LVMH announced that the mogul will be presenting her first major fashion collection in Paris, later this month. The range will include ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories and jewelry, per the report. Naturally, the line will also be called Fenty.
Fenty will be the first fashion brand launched from scratch by LVMH since the haute couture maison of Christian Lacroix was founded in 1987. Even more, this makes Rihanna the first-ever black woman to design for LVMH. Damn.
This seems like an ideal partnership, no?
