From PDA-filled royal tours to surprise appearances with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s schedule has been quite busy. Although the Duchess of Sussex, 43, loves going out, she usually blocks her calendar to ensure she’s home to make dinner for her two children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3. Despite her busy schedule, Markle still finds ways to support important causes, even if it’s from afar.
Meghan Markle Breaks Silence with Surprise Christmas Message
"From my family to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas"
Earlier this month, Smart Works hosted a special holiday service at St. Marylebone Parish Church. Although Markle didn’t attend the event, she still found a way to support the U.K. charity. Each guest who attended the service received a program, which included a special letter from the duchess herself.
“As proud patron, it is my pleasure to warmly welcome you all this evening to the Smart Works Carol Concert,” Markle wrote (according to Hello! magazine). “Tonight promises to be a truly magical celebration, filled with special guests and performers, and most importantly, the shared spirit of community that defines Smart Works.”
The Duchess of Sussex continued, “Together we gather to honour the work and dedication of this remarkable organisation, which continues to empower women across the UK through coaching, dressing and instilling confidence on their journey to employment.”
Markle also revealed why Smart Works holds a special place in her heart, adding, “In a year where the landscape for women in the workplace has continued to shift, Smart Works has stood as a steadfast source of encouragement. Their service is more than rediscovering employment, it is rediscovering empowerment.”
The duchess concluded, “As Smart Works continues to uplift the community, I hope you will continue to support them. I hope you enjoy the festivities, and, from my family to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas.”
Wishing all the best to the Sussex family in 2025!
