From socialite and reality TV legend to business mogul, wifemother and possibly...politician? It looks like that's the path Paris Hilton might be considering after her recent work advocating for a youth welfare bill.

Hilton, 43, shared her thoughts on potentially entering politics during her recent trip to Capitol Hill after lending her voice to the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act, which successfully passed both the House and Senate.

“After coming here so many times over the past couple of years and seeing that my voice really can make a difference, and I can really shine a spotlight on things that are important around the world to make it a better place and safer for children, I can maybe see that happening,” she said, per The Hill.

The Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act aims to create more transparency and accountability in youth residential programs and ensure that teen facilities offer safe, supportive and nurturing environments. Hilton has been at the forefront of this cause, driven by her own painful experiences as a teen in a residential treatment facility.

Reflecting on the historic moment, the Hilton hotel heiress took to social media to express her gratitude and pride in the bill’s passage.

“Today is a day I will never forget. After years of sharing my story and advocating on Capitol Hill, the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act has officially passed the U.S. Congress,” she wrote. “This moment is proof that our voices matter, that speaking out can spark change, and that no child should ever endure the horrors of abuse in silence.”

Hilton has been a powerful advocate for children’s rights and, in a post prior to the House vote, she shared that her son Phoenix and daughter London, who she shares with husband Carter Reum, inspire her to continue fighting for a safer world for every child.

"This trip is especially meaningful as I have my son Phoenix by my side. He and my daughter London are a huge part of my motivation in fighting for children’s rights," she wrote. "I want them to know that their mom is making sure that the world a safer place for every child."
