Taylor Swift Shares Rare Details About Eras Tour (Including Her Fave Performance) in New Book

Taylor Swift's fashion during the record-breaking Eras Tour made quite the statement. And the 34-year-old singer revealed that her songwriting is inspired by a popular 1960 novel. But she hadn't addressed her favorite tour moments...until now.

Last month, Swift released a super informational book, titled The Official Eras Tour, which is exclusively available at Target. The book offers a rare glimpse inside the singer’s tour and features never-before-heard details about her favorite performances.

Swift revealed that every song from the Eras Tour holds a special place in her heart. However, if she had to pick a favorite, she’d choose—drumroll, please—“Vigilante Shit.” 

“It’s just the most fun I’ve ever had, that one,” the singer wrote. “The chair choreography! The catty, vengeful, mischievous personas we get to try on and play with.”

Swift admitted that another fave is the Reputation Era, when she wears a one-legged body suit with heeled booties. The musician explained that the shoes were the focal point of the outfit. 

“The Reputation era included my favorite entrance of the night,” Swift added. “I always imagined the sound of mysterious footsteps timing up perfectly with the ominous synth beats of ‘Ready for It?’”

She continued, “I told [my team] I want to fully commit to each era, musically, stylistically and aesthetically. They should feel like time capsules.”
