Sofía Vergara Reminisces About Her ‘Favorite Campaign’ She Ever Shot

If there's one thing we know, it's that Sofía Vergara has been in the modeling game for quite some time. Years before she starred on Modern Family, the 50-year-old actress appeared in various photoshoots, commercials and more, which she loves to share for #ThrowbackThursdays on Instagram. However, in a new post, the Colombian native reminisced about a Dolce & Gabbana shoot from 2020, which she referred to as her “favorite” she's ever done.

Vergara posted three photos from the campaign to her account, along with a caption which read, “#tbt shooting my favorite campaign in Portofino.” She also included emojis of red hearts and the Italian flag.

The slideshow of photos sees the America's Got Talent judge posing in front of the stunning blue Mediterranean Sea. In the first photo, she wears a black dress that features a leather corset bustier and a lace skirt and sleeves. Meanwhile the second snap features Vergara in a leopard print spaghetti strap dress (which you might recognize because it's the exact outfit the Chef star is wearing in her profile pic on Instagram). Finally, the last pic captures Vergara in a lavender floral dress with ruffles.

Vergara shot this campaign in Spring 2020, as a way to promote the brand's new Devotion line of handbags. As you can see in the photos, the Modern Family alum holds a number of eye-popping purses.

Not only did Vergara grab some gorgeous shots from this campaign, but the proceeds from the sales also went to a good cause.

As noted in the caption of a post on the official Dolce & Gabbana Instagram page, the campaign was part of the Amore for Scientific Research project, which meant that proceeds were donated to Humanitas University to support global health.
