Dax Shepard Sent Adam Scott Threatening Messages Demanding ‘Severance’ Spoilers

Patricia Arquette already revealed that her peers have tried (and failed) to pry Severance spoilers out of her. And now, Adam Scott confirmed that his friends are just as vicious. 

Scott appeared on a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show to promote Severance season two, which is now airing on Apple TV+. The 51-year-old actor revealed that his friends have been treating him differently ever since the second season premiered because Severance is notorious for cliffhangers. The actor revealed that his good friend, Dax Shepard, left a series of threatening voicemails demanding to know what happens next. 

In one of the messages, Shepard said, “All right, you son of a b****, [Kristen Bell] and I just sat here, on the edge of our seat, waiting to find out what happens when you guys come to.”

In the next voicemail, Shepard made sure that Scott knows how it feels to be left on the edge of your seat. “Quick update you’d probably find funny,” the Parenthood star said. “My wife just ran through a plate glass window off the second story of our home and was rushed to the hospital.”

Shepard added, “You probably want to know if she’s still alive... I will tell you next week!”

Of course, this prompted Scott to respond with an equally threatening message, which said: “Dax, just in response to your unbelievably ridiculous and insulting audio message, not only am I not filming right now, I’m sitting in a jacuzzi, relaxing. So, so far—so far away from even being close to filming. So I guess what I’m trying to say is, again, eat s***.”
