Call the Real Housewives, because we have exciting baby news from their favorite TV host.
Andy Cohen is officially a dad and made the announcement on Monday night. The Watch What Happens Live star shared a black-and-white picture to his ’Gram of newborn baby Benjamin Allen Cohen, named after Andy’s grandfather. He captioned the post, “WOW! This is my son, Benjamin Allen Cohen. He is 9 lbs 2 ounces !! 20 inches !! Born at 6:35 pm, PT. He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate. And I’m a dad. Wow.”
Cohen made the announcement that he was expecting a child via surrogate in December on a live taping of his show. “Family means everything to me, and having one of my own is something I’ve wanted in my heart for my entire life,” he said. “And though it has taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet.”
The TV host had not one, but TWO baby showers to celebrate: one with all the Real Housewives (and John Mayer), and one with his NYC-based celeb friends like Sarah Jessica Parker and Kelly Ripa on the East Coast.
Congrats, Andy! We can’t wait to see which Lisa gets to be godmother. (Vanderpump, PLEASE.)
