Meghan Markle is back and better than ever.

Not only did the Suits actress make her triumphant return to IG in a sweet video celebrating the new year, but she also announced her brand new Netflix series titled, With Love, Meghan.

The show follows Markle as she embarks on new experiences with friends—both new and old. From trying exciting recipes to tending to beehives, the former royal is exuding new-found confidence in the teaser trailer, and I'm not the only one who noticed.

Body language and behavioral expert, Darren Stanton (also known as the human lie detector) weighed in with a few of his own observations from the trailer, and here's what he had to say.

On behalf of Betfair Bingo, Stanton told PureWow that Markle "comes across extremely confident with her body language, smiling a lot. She’s making her focus very clear, which is doing projects on a solo basis." Stanton also points out that Prince Harry doesn't seem to be really involved in this venture (besides his mini cameo) and she's the sole focus, which isn't the usual compared to their previous projects.

He continues, "Until now, they mainly completed projects together. She doesn’t come over [as] awkward at all, she comes across uber confident and excited on camera. Meghan is almost signaling that she is prepping herself for a brand-new solo career."

In the trailer, the Duchess is radiating happiness and Stanton says this might stem from her finally being at the center of attention.

He states, "She’s enjoying the moment and being the center of the limelight. Often we see Harry get the attention when they’re together, but here, it’s focused on her. We don’t see any signs of fear or frustration from Meghan, she’s very happy. From a non-verbal perspective, we see lots of open-palm gestures, no arms crossed or anything like that. In the trailer, she’s coming across relaxed and happy, and in a state of enjoyment at being the center of attention."

Down to the cooking, Markle is doing it all on her own, and letting her guests sit to the side as they enjoy some friendly conversations (and a bit of taste testing). "If you notice, a lot of cooking shows, it’s interactive, you often have the guests doing things too. However, she seems to be doing everything. Her gestures and the way she’s carrying herself, she comes across very dominant," Stanton says.

It's great to see this new era of her life unfold, and I'll be patiently waiting until January 15 for that raspberry cake recipe.
