It’s been almost two years since new Black Mirror episodes hit Netflix. Luckily, the wait is almost over. (Key word: almost.)

Netflix just released the first official trailer for Black Mirror season seven, which will premiere on—drumroll, please—April 10.

The trailer offers a glimpse into what’s to come in the six (yes, six) episodes, including two that are movie length. Since each one tells a different mind-bending story, it’s difficult to pinpoint what’s happening in the trailer and how it will be divided into story lines. However, it’s clear that the new installments are filled with mind-altering technology, AI-generated worlds and out-of-this-world drama.

Season seven boasts a star-studded cast list, including Awkwafina, Paul Giamatti, Rashida Jones, Chris O’Dowd, Emma Corrin and Issa Rae.

Series creator Charlie Brooker previously teased the upcoming episodes in an interview with Netflix’s Tudum. “You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” he said. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny, and some are emotional.”

Brooker continued, “It’s back to basics in many ways. They’re all sci-fi stories—there’s definitely some horrifying things that occur, but maybe not in an overt horror-movie way. There’s definitely some disturbing content in it.”

Let the countdown to April 10 begin.
