Jennifer Garner is taking her fans down memory lane with a fun behind-the-scenes throwback with her Alias co-star, Victor Garber.

In honor of Garber's 76th birthday, the Peppermint actress shared a slideshow of photos with her on-screen dad, including a short blooper reel of the two trying (and failing) to get through a scene without laughing. In the caption, she wrote, "Happy birthday to my favorite Spy Daddy."

The first two slides include sweet photos of the pair posing together, and in the third slide, both Garner and Garber struggle to keep straight faces as they try to perform their lines in an episode of Alias. Initially, the actors are in character and in an intense argument, but then Garner begins to giggle and Garber also breaks with a laugh. This is followed by five different takes, where both actors struggle to finish their lines without bursting into laughter. At one point, Garner says, "No no no, we've got it." But mere seconds later, both she and Garber lose it on camera.

One fan wrote in the comments, "My Alias loving heart soars!" Another said, "Alias reunion! Sydney and Jack Bristow back together! TV’s greatest dad and daughter pair ever! Their fights were legendary, can we please get the gang back together already for one more mission?" Another chimed in, "We need an Alias reunion!!!"

Not surprisingly, fans shared the same sentiment when Garner honored the actor with a birthday tribute last year.

The Yes Day star shared a collage of black-and-white photos with her co-star and wrote, "Everything’s better when I’m next to you, Spy Daddy. Happy Birthday, @therealvictorgarber!"

One fan responded, "Wish you would bring Alias, back we need Sydney back." Another added, "I’d love a reboot, slowly watching the last season because I don’t want it to end."

Although it's been nearly two decades since the iconic series ended, Garner has expressed interest in reprising her character, Sydney Brislow. During her appearance on the Dear Felicity podcast in 2024, she revealed, “I’m asked for a reboot literally every interview I do, when we’re gonna do it.”

When the show's host and Alias costar, Greg Grunberg, assumed that she wouldn't do a reboot in the form of a feature film, she said, “Are you kidding? Of course I would. I’d do anything J.J. would direct.”

Fingers crossed we'll get news of an Alias reboot in the near future.
