Expertise
As a founding member of PureWow and the Editor-in-Chief since 2021, I guide editorial direction and work with our team of over 20 editors to produce best-in-class content that betters and brightens women’s lives. I ensure that every story is up to par—that our product picks are properly tested, that our writing and reporting is top-notch and that we’re producing beautiful, serviceable stories that serve our audience and advertisers.
I'm passionate about parenting, home and pop culture, and am a contributing writer in those categories. Watch for my stories on how to talk to your kids about money, how to renovate a kitchen on a dime and how to dress yourself like a pro when you’re under 5’2”.
Experience
I began my career as an Assistant Editor at Random House Publishing Group where, for six years, I acquired and edited books ranging from historical fiction and pop science to literary essays and self-help. I joined PureWow in 2010 as the second employee, and over the years, have written, edited and overseen thousands upon thousands of stories. I love bringing the PureWow brand to the masses, and have served as an editorial and business expert on countless podcasts, panels and television segments.
Education
I received my bachelor's degree in English literature from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie New York, where I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with departmental honors.
