Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Princess Beatrice
It's no secret that Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, has an eye for style (have you seen this stunning Carolena dress?!). But if you ask us, it's her down-to-earth personality and passion for dyslexia awareness that's captured so many hearts.
The first daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice is currently Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy at Afiniti and one of four Counsellors of State. Prince William and Prince Harry's cousin is also ninth in line of succession to the British throne. Like her sister, Princess Eugenie, she attended both Coworth Park School and George's School. At age 7, she was diagnosed with dyslexia, but that didn't stop her from thriving in her studies.
After being elected Head Girl during her final year at St. George's, she went on to study history at the University of London in 2011. The princess landed her first job as a Research Associate at Children in Crisis UK, and has since worked for companies like Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sandbridge Capital LLC. Now, in addition to her work with Afiniti, she's also the co-founder of Big Change, a charity designed to empower and support young changemakers.
Aside from her successful career, the royal also works with several nonprofits, from Street Child and Children in Crisis to Teenage Cancer Trust. She's also an ambassador for the charity Made By Dyslexia, which aims to empower and support those who are living with dyslexia.
While the royal kept busy with her career and charity endeavors, she also pursued a few romantic relationships, briefly dating Paolo Liuzzo and having a 10-year relationship with Virgin Galactic. She finally met her match, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, in 2018. After about a year of dating, the princess announced her engagement to the property developer, and the couple had a private ceremony at Windsor Castle in July 2020. In September 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Sienna Elizabeth.
