In Captain Marvel, Brie Larson rocks more than a few hairdos. And now that her Avengers: Endgame press tour is wrapped, the 29-year-old Oscar winner decided to go all-out and celebrate with a fresh chop.
Larson hit the town last night for the launch of MLH Sigil Fragrances and debuted a brand-new short bob that falls just above her chin. It’s chic, it’s low-key and, honestly, it’s kind of badass.
Prior to her new hair transformation, Larson wore her tresses in a shoulder-grazing lob. And while she only cut off about two to four inches of hair, her shorter look is a total game changer.
She accentuated the change by wearing her hair in a deep side part with whisper waves à la Emma Roberts. Her minimalist crème suit with brass buttons and black bralette top let her cut do all the talking while she posed on the event’s red carpet.
Larson isn’t alone in wanting a hair change. The Unicorn Store director is but the latest in a series of celebs to join the bob club. Over the last several months, everyone from Mandy Moore to Kristen Bell, Julia Roberts and even Chrissy Teigen (temporarily) has taken the plunge and had their hair cut into a bob or a lob. It’s a look that’s versatile, easy to maintain and totally trendy.
The only question: When can our hairdresser fit us in? We think it’s time to join the bob club.
