Welcome back to Lumon—The Severance season two trailer is finally here.

After what feels like an eternity (okay, nearly three years), Apple TV+'s Severance is back with a look at its highly anticipated second season. And boy, was it worth the wait.

So, what’s happening at Lumon Industries? Well, things are getting even weirder. Adam Scott’s Mark Scout is starting to grapple with the fallout from Lumon’s seriously creepy experiment in “work-life balance.” (Spoiler: It’s not just about better email boundaries.)

As a refresher, Severance follows a group of employees who’ve undergone a procedure that separates their work lives from their personal lives. Season one left viewers hanging on a cliffhanger so intense, it made the wait for season two almost unbearable. But now, it’s time to dive back into the mystery.

In the new trailer, Mark is back at the office after his “innie” learned some pretty major stuff, like the fact that his supposedly deceased wife is actually alive—and working at Lumon as Ms. Casey, the wellness counselor. (Plot twist of the year.)

Viewers see Mark running frantically down those eerie, white hallways before arriving at his desk to discover three new employees in the seats once filled by Helly (Britt Lower), Irving (John Turturro) and Dylan (Zach Cherry). Oh, and of course, Milchick (Tramell Tillman) greets Mark with some unsettling welcome-back balloons featuring…Mark’s own face. (See for yourself below.)

Season two will span 10 episodes and, according to the official logline, Mark and his crew facing the “dire consequences” of meddling with the severance barrier. Sounds ominous, right? But that’s Severance for you.

This new trailer follows the season two announcement Apple TV+ teased back in July, and the cast lineup is just as star-studded as ever. Alongside Scott, we’ll see Britt Lower, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette and more returning. Plus, new series regular Sarah Bock joins the fold. Oh, and not to mention Ben Stiller is back to direct five episodes this season.

Severance season two premieres on Friday, January 17, 2025, with new episodes dropping every Friday through March 21.

We’ll be counting down the days.
