Let’s say you’re staying in a hotel (doesn’t matter for what, just go with it). You want a bigger room, obviously. But, like, not enough to pay for an upgrade, you know?
Turns out, there’s an easy trick for scoring more space without ponying up more cash: Ask for a corner room.
Why? According to a tip from Hotels.com in the Daily Mail, corner rooms are often bigger due to their structural layout. These rooms generally have the most square footage and windows.
While you’re at it, try to request a room on a higher floor, since that’s where the more premium rooms are usually located. They’re also farther away from street noise.
