The separate compartments and pockets are great, but my most used featured has been the fold-out mirror that sits securely against the very top of the case. It’s so helpful, especially while traveling and getting ready in different bathroom setups, to be able to slip it out and stand it up on the table or counter in front of you while putting on makeup. I also really appreciate how structured the case is—I stashed two extra pairs of sunglasses in it and had zero worries about them getting crushed by the weight of other items in my bag.
Aesthetically, I find the Duo Vanity Case simple yet glam; it feels very retro in an Old Hollywood “I’m putting on my finest skirt suit to sit in a tiny airplane seat” way. It’s available in 11 different colors, both on Revolve and on Etoile Collective’s own site, and there’s a hue for everyone, from the neutral gray I own to a bold cobalt blue and a very luxe looking espresso brown.
While does fit so much, it’s probably not the most space-efficient if your luggage allotment is limited in any way (or if you’re not into checking bags). Still, if you don’t mind checking or your mode of transportation means you can bring unlimited bags, it’s a chic way to elevate your travel experience—and looks much more expensive than its $100 price tag. I can also see it being an excellent gift for friends and family who fall into that latter camp.)
