Ever since the Russian troops invaded Ukraine, Kate Middleton and Prince William have been very vocal about their stance on the war. For example, the couple released a joint statement denouncing the invasion and showing their support for the Ukrainian people. Now, Middleton is using her fashion to further emphasize her solidarity with Ukraine.
On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Ukrainian Cultural Center in London. The pair met with members of the Ukrainian community and volunteers to learn about the efforts being taken to support the Ukrainian people living in the United Kingdom.
Middleton decided to pay homage to Ukraine with her latest outfit. The duchess rocked a McQueen blue jumper (blue, like one of the colors of the Ukrainian flag) with navy blue flare pants. She tied the look together with black, pointed heels. To show a united front, she and William decided to wear matching blue and yellow pins (with a white heart in the middle) that showcase both colors of the Ukrainian flag.
