Holy Smokes, Chrissy Teigen’s Net Worth Is High

Chrissy Teigen has come a long way since she was discovered while working in a surf shop in Huntington Beach, California.

Not only has she been involved in several shows (like Lip Sync Battle and Bring the Funny), but she’s also a New York Times best-selling author of three cookbooks (Cravings, Cravings: Hungry for More and Cravings: All Together), a model, John Legend’s inspiration behind “All of Me” (and his wife) and a mother of two. Oh, and did we mention that Chrissy Teigen's net worth is $100 million?

In addition to all of her aforementioned accomplishments, Teigen also earns her bucks through TV hosting gigs and brand collaborations. Let’s explore how she made the transition from Queen of Twitter to multimillionaire.

2. How Much Did Teigen Make From Her Modeling Career?

The 37-year-old got her start in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and has been a fixture in the special edition magazine ever since. She’s also modeled for Victoria’s Secret and more, making her number one of the highest-paid models in the world, according to Forbes. In 2017, Teigen earned a whopping $13.5 million, ranking third after Kendall Jenner and Gisele Bündchen. And in the following year, she made $11.5 million, ranking third after Jenner and Karlie Kloss.

3. How Much Did She Make From Her TV Appearances?

Teigen has been keeping fans entertained on her comedy court show, Chrissy's Court, where she also serves ad executive producer. After its original debut on Quibi, the show found a new home with The Roku Channel, and it's been going strong for three seasons.

In addition to her comedy series, the author and model has appeared on several other shows, including The Mindy Project, Mr. Mayor and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She also served as a judge on Bring the Funny and a co-host on Lip Sync Battle from 2015 to 2019. Her salaries for these roles haven't been disclosed, but it's very likely that she made serious bank.

4. What About Teigen's Cookbooks?

It didn't take long for Teigen's fire tweets to land her a book deal. After an editor from publisher Clarkson Potter came across her account and her So Delushious food blog, the Cravings brand was born. And her first book, which dropped in 2016, sold over 452,000 copies and made it to the New York Times best-seller list, according to MarketWatch.

Her second and third cookbooks, Cravings: Hungry For More and Cravings: All Together, also made the New York Times Best-Seller list, with the former selling 147,000 copies in just two months and the latter debuting at number two. When her latest book hit the best seller list, she wrote on Instagram, "Hello, I’m going to cry!!! 3-time New York Times best seller!!! It is truly an honor to be just behind @thepioneerwoman, an idol of mine. Thank you guys for making me the happiest second best ever lol."

Thanks to the massive success of her cookbooks, Teigen launched a cookware line with Target from 2018 to 2021, and she partnered with Blue Apron to make Cravings-inspired meal kits. Plus, her brand now offers fun items like baking mixes, pajama sets and kitchen accessories.

5. How Much Did She Make From Her Brand Partnerships?

With a huge social following and name recognition to boot, many brands have sought out Teigen for partnership opportunities. For instance, in 2017, she created a best-selling face palette with Becca Cosmetics. And in 2019, she designed a collection of sunglasses with Australian brand Quay. Other partnerships include Pampers, Baby2Baby, Blue Apron, Vita Coco, TRESemmé and McDonald's.

It's also worth noting that Teigen and her husband starred in a Google Assistant commercial in 2019 that played during the Oscars. In it, the two deal with the all-too-common challenge of trying to find a good TV show to watch.

She's definitely crushing it.
