Chrissy Teigen Just Launched New Chocolate Bars—and the Flavors Are Unreal

At $12 each, these bars are definitely on the pricey side (if you’re already skeptical, I totally get it). But considering the quality and distinctive flavors of these bars, I’d say that they’re worth the price tag—especially since most high-end bars are around the same price range. I've sampled a lot of high-quality chocolate in the past, but these flavors really stand out for me, and the fact that they all contain at least 30 percent cacao is a major plus.

Here's my take on the limited-edition bars.

What's inside: According to the packaging, this bar has 44 percent cocao and it's made up of just three ingredients: Milk chocolate, coconut milk and popcorn.

The coconut milk flavor is a nod to Chrissy’s Thai heritage, and the package design is inspired by the Beverly Hills hotel, which happens to be one of Chrissy's favorite spots in LA.

My thoughts: I could smell the milk chocolate from the moment I opened this up, and biting into it was like biting into a Crunch bar, except the chocolate is richer and you can taste more than just sugar. I loved the sweet coconut flavor and the silky smoothness of the chocolate in this bar. The salted popcorn pieces also added a satisfying crunch and helped balance out the sweetness. (FYI, I had to stop myself from finishing the entire thing in one sitting—It's that good.)

What's inside: This bar is made up of white chocolate and chunks of homemade carrot cake, and it's 36 percent cacao. (Fun fact: This flavor was actually inspired by Teigen and Legend's wedding cake.)

My thoughts: As a lover of carrot cake, I was especially excited to try this flavor—although in my experience, most of the white chocolate I've had tasted like solid sugar or chalky milk powder.

Fortunately, this bar is far from chalky. The texture is very creamy and smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the cake pieces. They're as soft and flavorful as a newly baked carrot cake, and while the scent is very subtle, I could smell a hint of the cinnamon and carrot cake flavor. Compared to Chrissy's coconut milk and popcorn bar, this one is definitely sweeter, so I've been slowly rationing smaller pieces to avoid sugar overload. Still, this bar is worth the buy if you enjoy the taste of high-quality white chocolate.
