Chrissy Teigen’s Watermelon Slushie Is This Summer’s Must-Try Drink

Model and funniest person on Twiter Chrissy Teigen knows her way around the kitchen (just try her cheesy chicken Milanese and you’ll see what we mean). But even though we’re mega fans of her best-selling cookbooks (she has two of them, NBD), we have to admit that we have yet to sample one of her cocktail recipes.

Fortunately for us, she just posted a refreshing and boozy recipe on Instagram and we’re calling it the drink of summer 2020 (because we could all use a cocktail right now, yes?). Presenting—drumroll, please—Chrissy Teigen's watermelon slushie.

The Bring the Funny judge captioned the pretty photo: “Vodka watermelon slushee, made with watermelon ice cubes, a little lime juice and a mint sprig if you’re feelin nasty. Mama prefers tequila but do as you please!!!”

This juicy cocktail is made with just five ingredients (that you probably already have in your kitchen) and only requires five minutes of prep time. On her website, Teigen tells us that we can also skip the alcohol so that kids can enjoy it too, or try it with white wine instead. We're already raiding our pantry to whip up a batch.
