I can't wait

If you’ve ever gotten excited about your favorite actor or actress landing a role in a new show, imagine the hype when two of your top picks are starring in the same series. Yeah, I’m talking about Severance’s Britt Lower and This Is Us’s Milo Ventimiglia coming together for I Will Find You, a new limited series heading to Netflix, based on Harlan Coben’s bestselling novel.

The show follows David Burroughs (played by Sam Worthington), a father who’s serving a life sentence for allegedly murdering his own son. But when he gets some evidence suggesting that his son might still be alive, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to find out the truth—even if it means breaking out of prison, Deadline reports.

Britt Lower’s character, Rachel Mills, is David’s ex-sister-in-law and a former star journalist who fell from grace after being fired. When she stumbles upon evidence that could expose a huge secret, she sees it as the story of a lifetime—and maybe her chance to get back into journalism.

Milo Ventimiglia is set to portray Hayden, Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, who works for his family's philanthropic foundation. Despite their past, they’ve stayed close and Hayden becomes an important part of the investigation.

But wait—there’s more. The series also stars Erin Richards (who you might recognize from The Crown) as Cheryl Dreason, a grieving pediatric surgeon whose life gets turned upside down when David escapes from prison. Logan Browning (Dear White People) also joins the cast as Sarah Greer, a member of the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force who has to deal with the chaos that David’s case brings to her world.

While a release date has yet to be announced, one thing’s for sure: I’m already counting down the days.
