This Is the One and Only Boozy Haunted House Attraction in NYC

Come spooky season, scary Halloween attractions are a dime a dozen. But there’s only one in NYC that’s slinging jump scares with a side of devilishly delicious drinks. Introducing Madhouse on Mulberry, a walk-through haunted labyrinth that ends in a cocktail bar—if you survive the maze, that is.

The Best Halloween Events Near NYC, from Seriously Spooky to Family Friendly

Located on Mulberry Street in Little Italy, the Madhouse stars a 5,000-square-foot maze that’s hiding spine-chilling secrets at every turn. It should only take you about 10 minutes to reach the end, but it’ll feel like the longest 10 minutes of your horror-loving life.

The maze contains five different themed areas that are sure to spook you good. Brave the electric shock area’s Shock Doc and his buzzing patients, come face-to-face with your worst fears in the phobia area (PSA: there will be killer clowns), run from all the Saw-inspired gore you can imagine in the butcher’s area, join a twisted tea party in the nightmarish doll area and meet the devil himself in the demon area. If you make it to the end, you can soothe your nerves with autumn cocktails galore, like a pumpkin spice martini, blood orange margarita or a ghoulishly green Witches Brew bev.

The attraction is running through November 6; all ages are welcome, but the bar is 21 and up only. There are still plenty of tickets available. A GA ticket will cost you $24, but for $39, you’ll get a VIP pass, which grants you express entry to the maze and scores you a syringe shot welcome drink (because you’ll need plenty of liquid courage to conquer the maze) and a bonus blood bag cocktail.
