2. Does She Play Queen Charlotte in the ‘Bridgerton’ Prequel Series?

Why yes, she does. Inspired by the popular series Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is a prequel that tells the story of a young Queen Charlotte, way before she became the ruler of the Ton.

Amarteifio makes her grand debut in the first episode of the series, where she plays Charlotte AKA the future wife of King George. But, based on the first official teaser, she doesn’t seem interested in royal life.

“Why me?” she asks, to which someone responds, “Charlotte, there are worse fates than marrying the King of England.”

But, when Charlotte discovers the king is keeping a dark secret, she takes it upon herself to make a seat of her own in the monarchy.

She went on to star in other television shows like The Interceptor, the ninth season of Doctor Who, The Evermoor Chronicles, Line of Duty and The Tunnel

Before landing the lead role in the Bridgerton prequel, Amarteifio made her feature film debut in the 2019 comedy-drama Military Wives. Oh, and she also starred in the 2022 sci-fi series, The Midwich Cuckoos. (Talk about being booked and busy.)
