‘Virgin River’ Star Benjamin Hollingsworth Shares ‘Awkward’ BTS Pics of Season 4

The second-best thing to new episodes of Virgin River is any special behind-the-scenes pics and clips we get from members of the cast. And thankfully, Benjamin Hollingsworth (who plays Dan Brady on the hit series) just shared a new series of BTS snaps, which were apparently taken during his “favorite scene” of season 4.

“Awkward,” the 37-year-old actor teased at the beginning of his caption, along with a flushed face emoji. He then wrote, “What was your favorite scene of #VirginRiver Season 4? Mine? The Brie sandwich (only available on the uncut version) #Netflix.”

In the carousel of photos, Hollingsworth is pictured lying in bed with two of his co-stars, Marco Grazzini (Mike Valenzuela) and Zibby Allen (Brie Sheridan). On the show, Allen plays a frequent love interest of Hollingsworth's character, but things get complicated when a spark starts to build between her and the character of Mike.

Hollingsworth was clearly referring to this love triangle with the playful photos he posted from a moment on set of Virgin River (a moment which didn't actually take place on the show). Of course, his co-stars kept the joke going in the comments, with Allen writing, “Loaf you guys [bread emoji].” Meanwhile, Grazzini commented a fire emoji and said, “Ayy caliente.”

In the comments, fans rushed to show their fictional allegiances, with users writing things like “#TeamBrady” and “#TeamMike.” Others, however, were merely itching for more episodes. “Omg when is Season 5?” one fan asked, adding, “I watched season 4 so fast. BEST ENDING EVER.”

Luckily for us, filming for season 5 of Virgin River is already underway, which we learned thanks to a post made by star Martin Henderson earlier this month (as seen above).

“Jack’s back!” He wrote in the caption. “Day 1 of shooting #virginriver Season 5—feels good to slip back into Jack's boots.”

We'll be excitedly waiting for more.
