Amber Heard Reveals Why the Only Beauty Product She Needs Is Lipstick (and Vents About the Size of Women's Clutches)

Looks like when it comes to beauty, Amber Heard is all about the lips. 

The Aquaman star attended L’Oreal’s Women of Worth Awards—an event honoring women who selflessly volunteer their time to serve their communities—and opened up exclusively to PureWow about her favorite beauty products (as well as her hatred for clutches). Allow us to explain. 

On Wednesday, we sat down with the 33-year-old actress and asked which products she liked to keep on her person at all times. But before she gushed about her love of L‘Oreal’s lipstick, she was sure to reveal her true feelings about the tiny bags we often use to carry these products in. 

“They often make clutches—I don’t know who designs clutches, whoever that is has never actually carried anything in one because they’re so small,” said Heard. “And I was thinking if I really just had one ridiculous size purse what would be the products?” We can totally relate to this struggle. 

So what's the product she needs in her clutch above all else? “The signature rouge and matte lipsticks are my go-tos. The signature, in particular, is just unique and because it goes on glossy and stains matte it’s kind of perfect. You can really do anything with it. You can even use a tiny bit for blush if you’re in a pinch. So if I have one product, it’s that.”
