To put it frankly, acne sucks. Even the smallest pimple feels ginormous when it's smack dab in the middle of your face. And though we always have backup in the form of acne dots, creams and facial devices, they can sometimes be a hit or miss. So when we started hearing about the Silvi pillowcase, which buyers swear by for preventing new breakouts, we were intrigued to say the least.

The brand's Mulberry silk and hypoallergenic cover has an antimicrobial silver treatment, which is supposed to eliminate 99.7 percent of bacteria linked to breakouts and inflammation, so you snooze your way to less irritated and clearer skin.

Just look at this TikTok video, which shows a comparison between the bacteria build-up on a cotton pillowcase vs. the silk Silvi over the course of seven days.

Unlike a standard cotton pillowcase, the Silvi is treated with silver ions that bind to bacteria to keep them from reproducing, preventing odor and bacterial spread. Not to mention, silk comes with a list of its own benefits, like maintaining moisture in your skin and reducing frizz. Plus, it just feels super smooth and luxurious against your cheek.

The Silvi is also temperature regulating for hot sleepers. But what really sold us was buyers' before and after photos.

The brand says you only need to machine or hand wash the pillowcase every ten to 14 days to keep reaping its antibacterial benefits. Oh, and did we mention it's available in standard and king sizes and comes in seven different colors? Yeah, we'll take all seven, please.
