“I wake up and immediately make an Emergen-C Super Orange and a cup of coffee. I’ve been doing this routine for quite some time now and it’s one of the things that gets me out of bed. I like to start my day off with an Emergen-C because my body needs the hydration and vitamins first thing in the morning. I have one cup of coffee a day, so I make it last. I crawl back into bed with my two puppies and husband and savor every sip as I check emails and respond to Instagram DMs.”

“I am addicted to Honeycrisp apples right now, so immediately after I teach class, I bite into one. Apples are filled with fiber, so they help keep me fuller longer.”

“I love eating plant-based, thanks to Sakara Life. I have been eating Sakara for the last three years. It changed the way I think and feel about food. Today for lunch, I had the pumpkin pie parfait. It’s filled with flax, which is packed with omega-3 fatty acids for beautiful skin and prebiotic fiber for a healthy gut. I’m really trying to get enough omega-3s during my pregnancy, so I really enjoyed this meal.”

“I was visiting my friends, so I had some multigrain crackers and hummus. I love hummus these days as well. I don’t know if it’s a pregnancy craving, but I can’t seem to get enough.”

“Dinner is often a homemade pizza and Caesar salad. I love cooking and eating dinner at home. One of my specialty dishes is pizza. I use a multigrain crust, basil pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and lots of steamed spinach. I cover the pizza in mozzarella and then bake it. It’s simple ingredients and takes no time to make. My husband and I love a Caesar salad, so it’s often our salad of choice. I love to fill up on greens.”

“I’m obsessed with the dark chocolate covered cherries from Trader Joe's. I keep them in the fridge because I love them slightly chilled. Just a few cherries is the perfect sweet treat for me.”
