Welcome to your April horoscopes! I’m going to try to ease us into this forecast the best that I can. 2025 has been a tumultuous journey so far and I know we’re all looking for some relief. April is when we finally close out the stories we’ve been working with and through since the end of last year.

Mercury retrograde ends on the 7th and Venus retrograde ends on the 12th. Both planets are now moving forward in compassionate Pisces, a sign where we believe in the dream, even if the resources to make it happen haven’t come together yet. The Full Moon in Libra, also on the 12th, is an attempt to restore balance. Not everything is fair in love and war. This full moon reveals who’s really in it with us as hard truths are uttered, and justice is served.

Taurus season begins on the 19th—Happy Solar Return to our loyal bulls. But with Mercury entering bold Aries on the 16th, Mars entering strong-willed Leo on the 18th, and Venus also entering Aries on the 30th, this grounded earth sign season contains a lot of fire. After a retrograde-filled, watery and emotional winter, we’re now moving into a decisive spring. Mars opposes Pluto on the 26th, the final pass of a transit that has been in play since November, pushing us toward healing and regeneration.

The new moon in Taurus on the 27th is going to feel like a new beginning. All of our biggest fears have been laid-bare on the table, as have our wildest dreams. The project proposal has been submitted, and now the only thing left to do is begin.

(Horoscopes follow for each sign. If you know your rising sign, reading for that sign may provide further insight.)

The Energetic Boundaries Your Zodiac Needs for 2025—and How to Set Them

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): A revelatory date night
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): A restorative dinner party
  • Other Key Dates: 4/4, 4/6, 4/16, 4/17, 4/18, 4/19, 4/26, 4/30

Reinvention requires a lot of release. You’re deep in the process of becoming your most confident and empowered self, but there’s so much junk that must be sorted through along the way. Some of it is worth untangling. But most of it needs to get thrown in the trash. The full moon in Libra on the 12th puts a spotlight on your closest relationships and leaves you reckoning with how you are and aren’t receiving support. It feels selfish to keep taking solo time to meditate and unwind, but through this you’re discovering your true needs and values. Don’t abandon your desires just to please someone else. Attention is nourishment.

Love Horoscope: Action planet Mars returns to Leo and your romance sector on the 18th and connections and conversations from November and December are back on the table. Whether it’s a deep talk about opening up your relationship or a text from that person who ghosted you, it’s time to wrap up this storyline.

Money Horoscope: Tread carefully with your spending this month. You’ve been doing so much self reflection and healing, and the urge to treat yourself has been real (and deserved). But with Venus—the planet that rules over both your relationships and your bank account—in your unconscious sector for the entire month, you must be diligent about tracking expenses.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): Overwhelming (but satisfying) day at work
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): New moon, new you
  • Other Key Dates: 4/1, 4/6, 4/7, 4/8, 4/12, 4/20, 4/24, 4/30

What if you accepted that the end result was completely out of your control? I know it’s hard for a fixed sign like you to surrender. That’s why you have no other option but to embrace the unknown. No one has networked harder than you these past few years. You’ve put yourself out there over and over again. Now your mission is to trust the process. The full moon in Libra on the 12th highlights how you can make an untraditional work or fitness routine make sense for you. The connections you’re making now should feel aligned and effortless, and if they don’t, that’s also good information.

Love Horoscope: Something needs to be addressed in the foundation of your relationship. It’s time to renew your vows and address any power imbalances. If you’re looking for love, now’s the time to sit down and make an actual list of what you want in a partner.
Money Horoscope: Exciting changes are happening in your work and professional life right now. What’s most exciting is the increase in your regular paycheck! This is definitely a month to save rather than a month to invest thou

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): Who’s in it for a good time vs. who’s in it for a long time?
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): Solo retreat weekend
  • Other Key Dates: 4/4, 4/7, 4/10, 4/16, 4/17, 4/20

Your career trajectory has been anything but traditional. For so long you’ve been hard on yourself about this, but you’re now realizing that the gaps in your resumé might be your greatest strength. Who wants to take advice from someone who’s never taken a risk? Your path has been nonlinear but you’ve gained so much wisdom. The full moon in Libra on the 12th highlights the gap between what you think is expected of you vs. what you actually desire. Give yourself plenty of solo time—especially once Taurus season begins on the 19th—to relax and get work done behind the scenes.

Love Horoscope: The full moon in Libra on the 12th is in your romance sector. This lunation sheds light on the progress you’ve made in your love life over the last six months. Whether you went all in on a connection or chose to stay single for your own peace of mind, you now know whether you should keep going or change course.

Money Horoscope: Hot and bothered Mars finally leaves your money sector on the 18th and you can let go of the financial stress that’s been on your mind since September. This period hasn’t been easy but has also paved the way for abundance that’s coming later this spring.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): Spotlight on family matters
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): Meeting a new friend
  • Other Key Dates: 4/4, 4/20

Untangling success from external validation has been a difficult and emotional process for you this year. It’s bittersweet to let go of an achievement that you thought would be the key to your happiness. You’re learning that choosing your own path is much more satisfying. People need your unique wisdom even if it’s hard to package for easy consumption. The full moon in Libra on the 12th highlights how your private life can better support your career and public life. Do you need to lean harder on family? Is it time to restructure your home office or gym? Get clear on who you can rely on and what inspires you to build a strong foundation for your dreams.

Love Horoscope: It’s time to embrace new horizons in your closest relationships. Whether you’re partnered long-term or still seeking connection, April brings a gentle shakeup that makes you excited to fall in love again.

Money Horoscope: Action planet Mars enters Leo and your money sector on the 18th bringing money problems from November and December back to the forefront. Avoiding the issue won’t work this time, you have to face your spending habits head on.

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): A very revealing conversation
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): Taking on a leadership role
  • Other Key Dates: 4/6, 4/18, 4/19, 4/20, 4/23

If there’s one thing you’ve learned so far this year it’s that: stepping outside your comfort zone isn’t cheap! Both financially and emotionally, you’re spent. You’re also coming to terms with who and what drains you vs. who always lifts you up. Boundaries have never been easy for you, but having compassion yourself is what defines your limits this time. Those who are coming along with you will come along whether you drag them there or not. The full moon in Libra on the 12th illuminates who and what you need to create a nourishing immediate environment. It’s OK to be a more discerning curator of your little corner of the world.

Love Horoscope: Much of the focus this month is on you (especially once Mars enters your sign on the 18th). There’s make or break energy for your closest relationships here — who’s with you when you’re down? Who’s ready to drop everything when you’re in crisis? This isn’t the best month to get to know someone new, but it’s great for strengthening bonds with those you love.

Money Horoscope: Mercury—the planet that rules your bank account—begins the month retrograde and caught up with illusory Neptune. To put it simply: buyer beware! Magical opportunities could come your way but those offers could also be snake oil. Financial matters improve once Mercury enters Aries on the 16th.

Virgo (August 23 - September 23)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): Money issues are faced and resolved
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): A much needed vacation is booked
  • Other Key Dates: 4/4, 4/7, 4/10, 4/16, 4/17, 4/20

2025 so far has been about diving into the deep end. You skipped the surface level chit chat and getting to know you stuff and went straight to, “so what’s your biggest fear?” Getting all of your emotional and financial skeletons out of the closet has been cathartic but also heavy. The full moon in Libra on the 12th illuminates how you can find abundance through a more balanced approach. Your commitments and resources are falling into place. By the end of the month you’re ready to take a calculated risk that will launch you out of your comfort zone.

Love Horoscope: Much of the last few months has been about reflecting on your closest relationships and how much energy you give to them. Beyond that, hard-nosed Saturn has been in your relationship sector since March 2023, and it’s been hard to have fun without commitment. A gentle shakeup on the 4th pushes you in a new romantic direction.

Money Horoscope: You’re slowly coming out of a period that has been very tumultuous for your finances. The full moon in Libra on the 12th puts a spotlight on how far you’ve come in stabilizing your accounts and budgets. Cash is still tight, but you’re moving in the right direction.

Libra (September 23 - October 21)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): All eyes on you (which is both enlightening and uncomfortable)
New Moon in Taurus (4/27): Facing a fear
  • Other Key Dates: 4/1, 4/6, 4/7, 4/8, 4/12, 4/20, 4/24, 4/30

You’re at the very beginning of a great love story. But before you step into this relationship, into any soul-level commitment, you need to figure out how it actually fits into your daily life. You tend to avoid structuring your own life because it’s much easier to fall into someone else’s flow. You’re learning that the dreamiest choice is cultivating your own discipline and self-respect and then seeing who fits into your routines. The full moon in Libra on the 12th gives you a platform to take up more space. Instead of hiding, embrace the spotlight.

Love Horoscope: It’s been a tumultuous couple of years in your life, and this month is when things finally start to stabilize. The full moon in Libra on the 12th highlights how much you’ve grown through connection and also through self-love.

Money Horoscope: By the end of the month, a money problem that’s been hanging over your head for a long time now is finally put to rest. Something that was initiated in November and got complicated in January finds its resolution around the 26th. There are opportunities to grow resources through your community if you’re willing to tap into them.

680x400 Scorpio@2x

Scorpio (October 22 - November 21)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): Mental health breakthrough
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): New Relationship Energy
  • Other Key Dates: 4/4, 4/6, 4/18, 4/19, 4/26

Keeping busy is a mode of self improvement but also a wonderful distraction. 2025 so far has been about you trying (and often failing) to take breaks, embrace joy, have some fun for once. Creative and romantic possibilities are bright as April begins. Then the full moon in Libra on the 12th reveals what you’ve been running from all year: your current schedule is not sustainable and you’re very burned out. If you’ve been deep in a doom scroll, it might be time to sign up for a silent meditation retreat (or at least logoff Instagram for a weekend). You’ll have more time for the commitments you crave after you take some space.

Love Horoscope: Your romantic life has been all over the place this year, especially since Venus retrograde began on March 1. The retrograde ends on the 12th and coming out of it, you’re either falling in love or romantically disillusioned. No matter what though, the new moon in Taurus on the 27th allows you to set intentions for love moving forward.

Money Horoscope: Between now and June 9, you have the opportunity to grow through your shared resources. This has been a theme for you since Jupiter first entered Gemini back in May 2024, but it’s only now that you’re really seeing the benefits. Lean into collaboration, investments and diversifying your portfolio.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): A wild night leads to a clarifying hangover
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): Getting back into healthy routines
  • Other Key Dates: 4/6

Are you ready to grow? Maybe you’re considering (or reconsidering) having kids. Maybe you’re devoting space in your home office to creative projects. Maybe you’re healing your inner child. 2025 so far has been about building a foundation for your sense of play. The full moon in Libra on the 12th is a celebration, and a moment that highlights how you can care for others while staying true to your own desires. What if your day-to-day didn’t have to be such a slog? What if you could wake up and do the things you actually love to do?

Love Horoscope: Over the last few months of retrograde madness, what’s become abundantly clear is that you need more romance and play in your life. Mercury enters Aries and your pleasure sector on the 16th inspiring you to set up some creative dates.
Money Horoscope: Mars finally leaves your shared resources sector on the 18th ending what has been months of stressing over debts, your partner’s salary and overdue invoices. You’re developing a higher risk tolerance when it comes to your security, and become very interested in exploring entrepreneurship this month.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): Breakthrough career moment
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): A sweet first date
  • Other Key Dates: 4/4, 4/24

You’re in the process of building a new foundation. 2025 so far has been full of house hunting, home improvement projects, and adjusting your schedule to prioritize your personal life. The full moon in Libra on the 12th highlights how much your professional life benefits from having something (or someone) to come home to. Your boss’ demands are much less consuming when you’re focused on moving in with a lover or giving your foster cat a good life. The scaffolding will soon be ready to come off and underneath you’ll find a fresh capacity for romance, creativity and pure joy.

Love Horoscope: Mars finally exits Cancer and your relationship sector on the 18th and for the first time since September you’re not on the defense. Your dating life has been tense for the last few months and you’re finally feeling lighter again. Or at least waiting until the second date to start an argument with the guy from Hinge.

Money Horoscope: A gentle shakeup at work around the 4th leads to a creative project falling into your lap. Though you might not be earning any extra income for this endeavor, you’re feeling much more satisfied in your day to day.

How Capricorn Are You Really (on a Scale from “Goat” to “Check Your Birth Certificate”)?

Cheeky image of a Black woman with blue hair on a light blue background. She's holding blue water in her palms, which is bubbling up and taking shape as her hair.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

  • Full Moon in Libra (4/12): Literal or figurative final exam
  • New Moon in Taurus (4/27): Apartment hunting begins
  • Other Key Dates: 4/4, 4/24

Maybe you’re someone who saves every extra penny for a rainy day, but who also refuses to admit when that rainy day is here. Or, maybe you’re someone who spends cash like you’re dying, who’s always thinking “You can’t take it with you.” Both of these mindsets are keeping you from true abundance. Breaking out of bad financial habits has been your main goal for 2025. The full moon in Libra on the 12th reveals the gap between your values, and how you actually live your life. When you live with more integrity around these ideals, you can build a solid foundation. It’s hard work to rewire these core beliefs, but so worth it.

Love Horoscope: Action planet Mars returns to Leo and your relationship sector on the 18th. Tensions that were building in your closest relationships back in November and December are now back with a vengeance but this time you’ve done a lot of reflection. The heat is on, but that doesn’t mean you have to stir the pot.

Money Horoscope: As mentioned above, money has been a huge focus for you over the past few months if not the past few years. You’re finding a better balance between giving and receiving. Venus retrograde ends on the 12th and the second half of the month is a sweet spot for you to make some extra cash.

So This Is Why the Aquarius Personality Is So Rare

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Reflecting on your values isn’t just about your budget, it’s about your self-esteem. 2025 so far has been about facing your limits and building a better container for your needs. The full moon in Libra on the 12th puts a spotlight on the areas where you still need balance. Whether it’s a draining relationship, an endless pile of credit card debt or a part time job that’s run out of benefits, it’s time to cut ties, make some calls and figure out a different plan. Who and what you give your attention to matters. Make sure you’re surrounding yourself, in your immediate environment, with things that are beautiful and satisfying.

Love Horoscope: You’re such a giving and compassionate person, and you sometimes get stuck in the role of the giver. This month though, you’re learning that love is so much better when you’re willing to receive. Look out for lovers who you don’t need to ask, they just know.

Money Horoscope: Financial growth has been slow and frustrating over the past few months, but when Mars enters bold Leo on the 18th, you’re hit with a wave of determination. With this influence also comes the risk of not knowing your limits so be careful you’re not girlbossing too close to the sun.
