Travis Kelce's Mom Dishes on Her Son's Reaction to Meeting Prince William

Travis Kelce's mom, Donna, is spilling the tea on her son's reaction to meeting the Prince of Wales—and I've got my teacup at the ready.

You might recall Travis's famous selfie with Prince William and his children, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince George, 11, back in June. In the snap, the royals posed alongside the NFL star and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, backstage at her ERAs show in London. And according to Donna, her son had a quiet fanboy moment.

While speaking with Extra, she recalled Travis saying that meeting the royals was “one of the coolest things” he'd ever done. She continued, “He said that ‘When you meet people like that, you know when the royals come in or Paul McCartney or Hugh Grant...somebody's in the suite, you're just like, who in this picture doesn't fit? Why am I here and why am I even allowed to talk to these individuals? It just doesn't seem right.’”

Donna hinted that he had also met some other famous names and handled these encounters like a pro. She added, "I think he's handling it pretty well, he's a pretty friendly guy."

Donna's recent interview comes just a few months after Travis shared his honest thoughts about the prince on his podcast, New Heights, which he cohosts with his brother Jason Kelce. And naturally, he had only positive things to say about the royal. He began, “We met royalty. Got there early and got to meet Prince William.”
