King Charles’s Former Gardener Recalls Hilarious Wedding Mix-Up—Involving Princess Eugenie and Beatrice!
He even confirmed that Sarah Ferguson wasn't invited

Stooks recently shared never-before-heard details about King Charles and Queen Camilla’s wedding back in 2005. The former royal gardener admitted that he made a major mistake while talking to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie: he didn’t recognize them.
“After the service, we went up to Windsor Castle for canapés,” he said (on behalf of JeffBet). “The queen gave a lovely speech. We were mixing with all of the celebrities and royals. I actually spoke to Princess Eugenie and Beatrice for a while, but I did not recognise them. They then said to me, ‘Do you know where our dad is?’ and I had no idea who they were, so I called another guest over. He then informed me that it was Eugenie and Beatrice!”
To make matters worse, Stooks referenced their mother, Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, who wasn’t invited to the royal wedding. He recalled, “I then asked them whether their mother was nearby and we could find her instead, and they said, ‘No, she wasn’t invited!’”

Stooks proceeded to share details about the wedding itself, adding, “On the day of Charles and Camilla’s wedding, we were bused up to the venue from where we had parked. Those coaches were very interesting, we were mixed in with all the celebrities who had been invited. We then queued up outside St. George’s Chapel to get in for the ceremony.”
He continued, “The chapel was full of trees and flowers, it almost looked like a wildflower meadow, there were various spring bulbs emerging. I remember there were some lovely white flowering amelanchiers. I actually went on honeymoon with them [Charles and Camilla] and planted some of those flowers up at the Balmoral Estate and the rest were taken back to be planted at Highgrove.”
Now if only those bus drivers would do a tell-all…
