ABC just released the first-look photos from the Roseanne reboot and, after 20 years, let’s just say the Conners aren’t exactly picking up where they left off.
Here, 12 photos that are the perfect setup for the nine-episode revival’s premiere on March 27. FYI: We’ve already set aside our best flannels for the occasion.
So Dan (John Goodman) is very much alive.
And still getting into trouble.
But he and Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) are clearly going strong despite the whole dying-in-the-series-finale thing.
After separating from her husband, David (Johnny Galecki), Darlene (Sara Gilbert) is back in the Conner household and she brought her daughter, Harris (Emma Kenney of Shameless), and her gender-nonconforming son, Mark (Ames McNamara).
There’s nothing like a hug from your mom to get you through a rough patch.
Or a garage beer with your dad. Cheers.
Both are great ways to heal...until you remember your parents love making you the butt of the joke.
D.J. (Michael Fishman) has a child now, too—a daughter named Mary (Jayden Rey).
Worlds collide when Becky 1 (Alicia Goranson) and Becky 2 (Sarah Chalke) meet in person. And in a strange twist of fate, Becky 2 hires Becky 1 to be her surrogate. Interesting.
Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) is one proud nasty woman.
And it seems to stir up some family tension.
But, no matter what, the Conners always break bread and settle their differences around their iconic dinner table.
