Priyanka Chopra Totally Predicted Meghan Markle's Royal Future Years Ago

Were you caught off guard by Meghan Markle's transition from Hollywood to royalty? Markle's pal Priyanka Chopra wasn't. 

"Megs… she was always meant for big things," Mrs. Jonas said in a new interview with Elle. 

"To be a change and be an important voice in doing that," the actress added. "It’s amazing that she found that calling and has the platform to be able to do it. By the time this comes out, she will have a baby [Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on 6 May]—it’s so amazing how lives change. I’m a big believer in taking charge of your life, but there’s got to be something bigger that puts us into the circumstances that we are put in. Destiny has a weird way of helping you to find your calling."

Damn, Priyanka.  

This isn't the first time Chopra has gushed about Megs. Back in April 2018, the Quantico star penned a love letter to her bestie in Time magazine in honor of her making the “100 Most Influential People of 2018” list.

Chopra spoke about the deep kinship she and Markle established pre-Harry and wrote, “Somewhere among biryani, poutine and endless conversations, I realized just how deeply Meghan Markle cares for the world. With her, what you see is real, and what you get is a relatable young woman with her heart and mind in the right place.” Um, wow. 

She also expressed her admiration for Meg’s commitment to making the world a better place, writing, “Her compassion, evident in the causes she supports and her drive to break down stereotypes—obvious in her actions—will connect her to a generation in much need of kindness.”

So sweet, no?
