This wasn't another typical Saturday for Prince George. The 9-year-old royal, who is the eldest child of Prince William, 40, and Kate Middleton, 41, just made history at his grandfather's coronation. As King Charles III was crowned monarch of the United Kingdom, his grandson served as a Page of Honour, becoming the youngest future king to ever have a role in the ceremony.

It was announced in early April that Prince George would take part in the event, in an Instagram post that explained, “The Pages will form part of the procession through the Nave of Westminster Abbey.” And he certainly nailed his role, looking so grown up as he walked with the king's other pages, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay and Master Ralph Tollemache.

The eldest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales took a very active role during the ceremony, walking directly behind his grandfather throughout the procession.

While we excitedly awaited Prince George's role in the ceremony, we weren't sure what exactly it would entail. But today, it appeared that he and the other three pages helped to carry the tail of King Charles's robes as he entered Westminster Abbey.

For the event, the 9-year-old sported a red military coat and white gloves, looking focused as he stood outside of Westminster Abbey prior to the ceremony.

Besides King Charles's four pages, Queen Consort Camilla also chose four Pages of Honour—her grandsons, Master Gus, Master Louis Lopes and Master Freddy Parker Bowles, as well as her great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot.

You totally killed it today, Prince George (as we knew you would).
