Meghan Markle's Podcast Producer Praises the Royal in Candid New Post

It’s no secret that Meghan Markle launched a brand-new podcast this week, titled Archetypes. After everything, it’s hard to picture the Duchess of Sussex sitting in a studio, wearing headphones and spilling her darkest secrets. But according to her colleague, she’s totally in her element.

This week, Rebecca Sananés (the podcast’s executive producer) posted a photo on her personal Instagram account, along with a heartfelt message where she described what it’s like to work with Markle.

In the caption, Sananés explained that Markle launched Archetypes for one reason: to address criticism head on. “Our vision was simple: the most scrutinized woman in the world talks about the labels all women deal with,” it read. “She investigates where those tropes come from and how they function in our lives. Then she talks to a woman we all recognize will understand that stereotype personally.”

Sananés continued, “I am so proud of our work together and the space Meghan has opened in this podcast series. I’m awed by the authenticity, vulnerability and intimacy that she, and all our guests, share. Our experiences as women overlap. Let’s listen to women and lift one another up. It has been an honor to create & EP this show [white heart emoji].”

On Tuesday, Markle dropped the first episode of Archetypes, which featured Serena Williams as a special guest. In the installment, the royal recalled a terrifying fire that happened during the royal tour of South Africa.

We can’t wait to see hear what Markle does next.
