The couple’s trip to Nigeria was announced last month, when Brigadier General Tukur Gusau—a spokesperson for Nigeria's military—released an official statement confirming that the royal couple would meet with service members and participate in several cultural activities.
The trip marked their first international tour in years, and it didn’t disappoint. During a visit to the Lightway Academy, Markle and Prince Harry visited a classroom inside the school, where kindergarteners danced and sang songs for them. This prompted the duchess to share rare details about her 2-year-old daughter, Lilibet (or “Lili”).
It all started when Prince Harry asked the group of students, “Is singing and dancing your favorite class?” Markle then revealed a tidbit about Princess Lilibet, saying, “That’s Lili’s favorite class. Maybe it’s all the jumping around.”
Princess Diana would be so proud.
