I can’t help but wonder what Prince William was thinking after his latest royal outing, thanks to this mysterious photo.
Today, the Prince of Wales, 42, traveled to Scotland to celebrate the brand-new partnership between Homewards U.K. and Hays, which will benefit people experiencing homelessness. Kensington Palace shared a slideshow of photos from the visit on Instagram, including a striking portrait of Prince William in deep thought.
The first photo showed Prince William standing next to British entrepreneur Steven Bartlett, who joined forces with the duke to support the cause. I immediately noticed that the Prince of Wales had a pensive expression on his face, which indicated that he was actively listening to what Bartlett was saying.
In the caption, Prince William revealed that he’s honored to be part of the initiative. He wrote, “Great to be joined by @steven as @homewardsuk announces an exciting new partnership with recruitment specialists Hays, which will provide employment and training opportunities for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness across all six Homewards locations.”
The royal continued, “And in addition, thanks to ‘Project Flourish’, Hays—with support from @everyyouth_uk—will also work specifically with young people at risk of homelessness to find and sustain meaningful employment.”As evidenced by his comment on the post, Bartlett seemingly had a great time with the prince. He wrote, “Thank you again for being so generous with your time Sir! An absolute honour.”
Of course, Prince William’s now-signature scruff was on full display during the outing. The royal originally debuted his new beard last year and has experimented with the length over the past few months. He previously revealed that his daughter, Princess Charlotte, didn’t approve when he first grew it out. However, the rumor is that Kate Middleton likes it. (Sorry, Char.)
