Katy Perry Gives Birth to Daughter—and We Already Have a Pic & a Name

The accompanying photo caption initially shared by UNICEF read, “Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy.” Yes, the couple used their birth announcement to divulge that they are teaming with UNICEF to bring awareness to a very important issue.

The caption continued, “'We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,' Katy and Orlando told us.”

The famous duo previously revealed that their unborn daughter already had a nickname during a recent virtual appearance with Hits Radio. Perry said, “I call her Kicky Perry sometimes. I love a pun.”

The American Idol judge initially announced she was pregnant back in March in a new music video for her song “Worn Over White,” even sharing a few clips on Instagram.

The “Never Really Over” singer got engaged to Bloom on Valentine’s Day last year after dating on and off for two years. This is their first child together (with Bloom already a father to 9-year-old Flynn).
