Meghan Markle Shares Rare Photo of Herself As a Girl Scout And I Can't Get Over This One Detail

Meghan Markle is kicking off a new chapter by reflecting on an old one—her Girl Scout days. In honor of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, dropping its first episode today, the Duchess of Sussex shared a series of nostalgic throwback photos from her Girl Scout years.

One pic shows a young Meghan grinning in her Girl Scout uniform holding a box of cookies. The post also included more shots of her and her troop selling cookies outside a grocery store, complete with a DIY booth decked out with balloons.

"Being an entrepreneur can start young," she wrote in the caption. And, honestly, I can't get over how true of a statement that is. I mean looking back at her career she's worked as a freelance calligrapher, had her own blog (hello, The Tig), written a picture book and more recently launched her new podcast and her lifestyle brand As Ever.

Markle added a nod to her brand in the caption writing, "(By the way, all these years later and I’m still selling cookies!)" As Ever sells shortbread cookies mix with flower sprinkles which sold out along with the rest of the brand's products in under an hour.

She ended with a call to action to fans to, "Tune in for the premiere episode of ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’ featuring my dear friend, @whitney, now streaming wherever you get your podcasts!"
