Kate Middleton has made it her mission to change early childhood development for the better—and who says she can’t do that while also slaying in the fashion department?

Today, the Princess of Wales paid a visit to the maternity unit inside the Royal Surrey County Hospital to learn about their efforts and resources to help women who are expecting and new mothers

Princess Catherine looked absolutely radiant in a mustard yellow dress designed by Karen Millen, with a distinct V-neckline, puffy shoulders and a fastened belt wrapped around the waist. The bottom of the dress featured a pleated design. She tied the whole look together by rocking a pair of navy suede pumps with a matching clutch purse.

According to People, the facility cares for an estimated 3,000 babies every year. Princess Catherine met and conversed with the members of the Jasmine Team, who help women in need of mental health services during and after pregnancy. Afterward, she spent time in the Special Care Baby Unit, where she spoke with a family receiving care from the unit there.

Making a change in children’s lives for the better is something Princess Catherine has always cared for deeply—and she considers it an extremely personal issue. Back in June, the royal led her first-ever roundtable with U.K. politicians as she advocated for the importance of early childhood development. During the discussion, she shared findings gathered by the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, which launched last year.

Keep making a positive change in the world, Catherine.
