Kate Hudson is opening up about the ups and downs of quarantining with her kids.
While chatting with PureWow about her wellness journey and myWW+, the 41-year-old mom candidly revealed that there are aspects of virtual learning she does not enjoy. "Homeschooling and fun are not really two things that go together,” she confessed with a laugh.
Still, the actress is grateful for the extra quality time with her children—although there is some concern over their lack of social interaction and activities. She explained, "It’s nice to have the kids at home, but at the same time, I feel bad they’re not getting that connection and social developmental part of being in school, because it’s so important. I feel bad, [because] my teenage son should be out with his friends, living it up and testing the limits. That’s what he should be doing right now, but instead, he’s hanging out with me."
The mother (who is currently dating Danny Fujikawa) has three children: Ryder Russell, 16, Bingham Hawn, 9, and Rani Rose, 2. Though raising them in the middle of a pandemic has proven to be a challenge, Hudson revealed that she's choosing to focus on the positives.
