Jennifer Lopez Shares the Meaningful Phrase That Ben Affleck Engraved on Her Engagement Ring

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have crafted one of the most romantic celebrity love stories in recent memory. In 2021, the couple rekindled their relationship nearly two decades after they had called off their wedding. But, the pair finally got their fairytale ending this past summer, when they tied the knot in Georgia (after a secret Vegas ceremony) surrounded by their closest family and friends. And to make it official, Affleck engraved a romantic message on J.Lo's engagement ring.

During a recent interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Jenny from the Block revealed that her now-hubby had a secret phrase engraved on the inside of her engagement ring: “Not. Going. Anywhere.” And these three words hold a special meaning to the couple.

Lopez explained that this phrase represents Affleck's commitment to her. “That's how he would sign his emails when we started talking again,” J.Lo revealed. “Like, ‘Don't worry, I’m not going anywhere.’”

The Hustlers star has a green engagement ring, which The Clear Cut gemologist Olivia Landau described as a “5-6ct fancy green cushion cut diamond set with white diamond side stones.”

Landau also noted that green has been a signature color of Lopez's (remember that iconic Versace dress?). The jewelry expert said, “Recently, Jennifer mentioned the color green symbolizing many important moments and lucky moments in her life, so it's fitting!”

Lopez sat down with Apple Music to discuss her first studio album in nine years, This Is Me...Now, which is set for a 2023 release date.

J.Lo discussed how Affleck was a major inspiration for the album and how he's been a huge supporter throughout the whole process. “He's my biggest fan, which is awesome,” she said. The Monster-in-Law actress noted that rekindling their relationship ignited a new creativity in her: “I felt so inspired and so overtaken with emotion, that it was just pouring out of me.”
