Jennifer Lopez Announces New Alcohol Brand Delola (and Debuts Three Introductory Flavors)

Jennifer Lopez is a singer, dancer, actor and entrepreneuer. And now, the 53-year-old is embarking on a new business venture, according to her newsletter On The JLo.

The latest website update (which Lopez uses to connect with fans) revealed that J.Lo is launching a new low-calorie alcohol line called Delola. The brand will feature three flavors: tequila, vodka and spritz.

The “On The Floor” singer also shared the new promo video for the product launch on her personal Instagram account earlier today. In the short clip, Lopez is enjoying a sparkling glass of Delola in a beautiful tropical setting. 

“I just wanted to create something better tasting, better ingredients [and] something I would enjoy drinking with my friends and family. And that is Delola,” the singer says in the ad.

The caption read, “The secret is out!!! I’m proud to share with you @DELOLA … my new collection of unique, mixology-level ready to enjoy spritzes. More is #OnTheJLo. Let’s live the #DelolaLife together.”

While sitting down with People magazine, the Shotgun Wedding star shared the inspiration behind her alcohol business. The name Delola is inspired by the singer’s childhood nickname “Lola,” and it’s designed to emulate “carefree” and “fun” vibes. 

“I love to entertain. I love throwing parties at my house. I’m always the first one on the dance floor at all of the industry events and at times, on vacation, dancing on the table. That is kind of who Lola is,” Lopez told the publication.
